HI Charlie,
I dont know how to thank you! I showed your email to my auto care people and got an alternator put on the rx7 and all the lights went off and my problem solved. THANK YOU SOO MUCH. Take Care. Have a nice day!

Charlie,
Shifting feels effortless, that BG product is amaizing.
BTW - It definitely was the front sway bushings. I replaced them with some Prothane bushings I had on my STI sways (luckily same OD bars) and Prothane grease. The car is now silent.
I'm thrilled to be a Mazcare customer! Drive Safe,

Charlie,
Thanks for the great work yesterday. I know that welding wasn't anything like a roll cage, but I don't think Robinson's got anything on you. The subframe brace seems to have fixed a drooping left rear suspension. Maybe putting that brace in straightened something up in the rear, but now both sides have the same spacing between the tire and the fender lip. Great customer service, too, thank Alan for me. I haven't noticed much difference with the motor. If anything, it feels like it might be flatter. I know the motor was rebuilt at some point, but I don't know anything about the rebuild. We know advancing the timing on the stock motor produces more power, what modifications in the motor would cause advanced timing to lower the output? I'm not complaining at all, just trying to learn as much as I can. Lastly, a big thanks for the exhaust. I'll be trailering the car to Roebling at the end of the month, so I think I might put that on and try it out.
Thanks,
Jeff B

Charlie,
I wanted to drop you a line and tell you how I did with our tuning on the Miata. I started off in practice dead last! My flu bug was killing me and the new track surface at Roebling was not matched with my car set up. But in qualify, I landed in second for Spec Miata. Lost 1 spot and finished 3rd out of 27. Sunday I had the second fastest time all day. The big difference was the torque and a longer power curve down the straight. So it worked! A coupe fellow drivers I run with knew right off that something was different. I also paid close attention to my fuel weight to run light as I could.
Thanks,
Dave

Charlie,
I am constantly amazed by you, Alan, Scott (Mazcare). How nice of you to check up on the Seven. Yes, she is doing fine. Cole said everything is great. We are fixing the wheel bearing this weekend. I won't drive the Seven until that is fixed. It makes me nervous to have it broken. Thank you so much for all that you do for me.
Sincerely,
Ashley

Hey Charlie,
I had a great weekend - they were short on instructors - you probably could have run it if you wanted to. The car ran great- no coil problems, no carb problems. I got passed by the radical and 2 or 3 cup cars but pretty much passed everything else on the track. It was pretty hot out and the oil temp reached 220 - 225 - I prefer 200 - 210 .. but it ran pretty consitent and was stable at that temp.. The water temp ran 190 when the oil was at 220. I didn't feel that was terribly bad with the outside air temp at about 95.. Do you think we need to fatten the main jets a half size or more? I do like the way it idles and runs. Let me know what you think. Thanks for all the work getting it ready for me - I really appreciate it. First full weekend with no mechanicals in a long time - Thanks again.

Charlie, Allen, Scott, Roger, & Nancy,
Just got home (Roger & Nancy - picked up my RX-7 @ 3:00 pm today from Macabre) and it ran beautifully the 70 miles to Athens! Reminds me of 13 years ago when I picked it up in St. Louis and drove 300 miles to my home at that time in middle Tennessee. The same extremely tight engine - heat boiling off the engine and exhaust when I pulled into the garage, responsive yes but I know that when it's broken it it'll run even better! Even the Atlanta traffic and the police cooperated. Traffic flowed well around the loop (I'm always amazed that on the 55 mph I-285 many people are running 75-80 mph) and I went thru 3 radar traps on GA 316 to Athens and each time the cops got guys traveling with me - but not me. Thank you Valentine One and the small, stealthy black RX-7! I'm definitely breaking it in same as originally and exactly as you recommended - low boost, and rpm's less than 4,000 - brake gently, accelerate smoothly and gently, and cruise varying the rpm's. I'm Happy!!
Thank you for your hard, skilled, knowledgeable work and your care to do everything in the most professional manner possible. I'll update you after break-in.

Dan,
What make vehicles? I have been bringing my Mazdas to Mazcare in Marietta for over 10 years. They only do Mazdas but they know their business and are honest as the day is long. If you own a Mazda their the place to go. Below is a link to their site. If you contact them ask for Charlie. Other than Mazcare I don't know any honest mechanics.

Hi Alan,
I've been neglectful,by not having sent this note sooner. Thanks, for having performed that 90K recently. The "ole" girl seems to perform better than new. Just hope that I haven't spoken too soon; because of her age.
Sincerely,
Rod Ragland

Charlie,
Hey I just wanted to let you know that I took my R1 out to the Dragon this weekend for the Deals Gap Rotary Rally and she performed like the 13 year old champion she is. I gave her hell (I guess not too much as I am not that qualified of a driver) and she performed very nicely. Thanks again for the quality work you guys do and let me know when you get in another Down Pipe.
Sincerely,
Richard Klamrzynski
